As a house of brands, Hightower includes a collection of products that are sourced and manufactured in the USA (origin: domestic) under the Hightower Studio warranty, and a curated collection of brands and products with imported parts, often assembled in the USA, that follow our partner manufacturers’ warranties (origin: partial domestic or import). Some partner products are 100% made in High Point, NC, and as such have domestic origin and are included in the Hightower Studio 10-year warranty. 

Hightower strives for the highest standards of design and manufacturing. Hightower Customers are entitled to the protection offered by our limited warranties, on the following terms:

• Hightower Studio Indoor Products: 10 years
• Hightower Studio Outdoor Products: 2 years

Hightower Studio Indoor Products – Ten-Year Limited Warranty

GENERAL PROVISIONS. Hightower warrants that its Hightower Studio products are free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service, for a period of ten (10) years for the original end-user customer. This warranty begins on the date the product is shipped from Hightower as evidenced by the product invoice. Under this warranty, Hightower will, at its option and upon Hightower’s inspection, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any product found to be defective. If a product is no longer available, a like or similar product may be offered as a replacement at Hightower's sole discretion. Customer is responsible for any service calls or shipping/transportation charges for services and/or maintenance not directly related to a defect covered under the warranty. Labor charges for warranty-related work are not included. The Hightower Studio warranty is limited to single shift (8 hours per day, 5 days a week) environments.

EXCLUSIONS. The warranty does not cover, and Hightower shall not be responsible for, the following: (1) any products that have been altered or modified in ways not approved by Hightower; (2) depreciation or damage caused by normal wear and tear, lack of reasonable and proper maintenance, misuse, lack of proper protection during storage, natural disasters, acts of God, accidents, or any other force majeure event; (3) damage to products caused by any attempt to repair, replace, or service the equipment by persons other than authorized Hightower representatives; (4) wear items, including cushions, handles, sliding mechanisms, protective coatings and the like; (5) performance of Customer's Own Material (COM) and items supplied by Customer; or (6) damage sustained during shipping or transit.

Performance of graded in fabric is subject to the warranty of the textile manufacturer, which Hightower will coordinate on behalf of the customer. Hightower warranty includes our craftsmanship, such as cutting, sewing, and upholstery fit, but excludes fabric performance.  This warranty does not extend to color, grain, or texture of natural materials, such as wood, marble, or leather, or other natural variations over which Hightower has no control. Hightower does not warrant matching of color, grain, or texture.

LIMITATIONS. (1) Five-year warranty on exposed wood frames, tabletops, and legs. (2) Two-year warranty on outdoor products as outlined below. (3) Motion parts, such as swivel mechanisms, are subject to the duration of the OEM parts supplier’s warranty, which is typically 2 years. Service and repair of Hightower products must be performed only by authorized Hightower repair representatives using Hightower-approved parts. Unauthorized service, repair, or modification of the products or use of non-approved Hightower parts will void this warranty. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from shipment, accident, misuse, tampering, negligence, abuse, or normal wear and tear.
REPLACEMENT PARTS. All replacement parts that are furnished under this warranty and properly installed shall be warranted to the same extent as the original parts under this warranty, including warranty end date, if and only if Hightower initially determined that the original parts were defective within the original warranty period covering the original product.

Hightower Studio Outdoor Products – Two-Year Limited Warranty

Hightower merchandise designated for outdoor use is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years under the same terms as the indoor products, to the original Customer. During this two-year period, Hightower will repair or replace, free of charge, any merchandise that proves to be defective. Labor charges are not included for warranty-related work.

In addition to the limitations described above for indoor products, this warranty for outdoor products does not apply to damage or defects resulting from exposure to outdoor conditions such as high winds, heat, cold, humidity, or salt water.

The outdoor products warranty is also limited to products used in standard work environments with single shift (8 hours per day, 5 days a week) operations.
We recommend storing cleaned, dry furniture under cover or covering it when not in use to protect it from debris and inclement weather. With proper care and maintenance, the product will maintain its structural integrity, and:

• Polypropylene surfaces should resist fading and cracking.
• Metal finishes should resist fading and cracking.
• Steel may develop small rust spots over time in places where damage has occurred, such as chipping, scratches, or abrasions.
  

This warranty does not cover those parts of the product that are exposed to abrasion during use.

MANDATORY WARRANTY PROCEDURES. To be eligible for warranty service, Customer must (1) report the product defect to Hightower within 30 days of discovery of the defect at 1-816-286-1051 or by email at service@hightoweraccess.com; and (2) make the product available to a Hightower authorized repair representative for inspection to determine eligibility for coverage under the warranty. Hightower will pay for ground shipping only. Customer will be charged the difference between ground shipping and any expedited shipping requested. Hightower will make its best efforts to remedy warranty issues as quickly as possible, but cannot guarantee immediate availability of replacement parts or products.

DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND OTHER REMEDIES. Except as expressly stated herein (and to the fullest extent allowed under governing law), Hightower hereby disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including without limitation all implied warranties or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and any and all warranties, representations or promises as to the quality, performance, or freedom from defect of the equipment covered by this warranty. Hightower further disclaims all implied indemnities.

In no event shall Hightower be liable for any incidental, special, or consequential damages or injuries, however caused, whether based on a theory of liability, including, but not limited to, loss of profit or revenue, loss of goodwill, work stoppage, interruption of business, loss or damage of property, inconvenience, rental of substitute equipment, or other commercial loss. Customer understands and expressly agrees that the foregoing limitations on liability are a material consideration in the price of the Hightower product purchased. 

If any of the foregoing limitations are held to be unenforceable, Customer agrees that the maximum liability of Hightower shall not exceed the applicable replacement cost of the equipment, which shall be the sole and exclusive remedy. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply. This warranty outlines specific legal rights; other rights may vary by state.
