It was born from a simple consideration: what if seating could feel like floating? That effortless moment of pause, where the body feels supported and the mind can truly rest. With sculptural curves and playful detailing, Flote invites you to sink in, breathe out, and stay a while. Every element (from pitch to proportion) was carefully refined to deliver a sit that surprises and delights whether you’re seeking quiet reflection, creative collaboration, or casual comfort. It’s a collection that doesn’t just fill a space, it elevates it. It’s a better moment, built into every curve, every finish, and every seam.

This collection was designed to adapt, supporting a range of environments and behaviors. The active sit of the chair offers upright comfort for focused work, while optional casters allow for easy mobility and space reconfiguration. The swivel lounge with auto return brings effortless rotation and the ability to fidget while maintaining visual order. Sofas, lounge chairs, and ottomans provide flexible lounge options that balance personal space and connection. Thoughtfully engineered, each piece balances comfort, movement, and function without sacrificing aesthetic integrity.

Seams About Right
Signature seam options let designers personalize each piece with thoughtful detail. The double-needle stitch offers a clean, refined look that blends seamlessly into any environment. The welt option adds definition, which can be matched for a subtle effect or contrasted to introduce a bold accent of color and texture. Looking for something more unexpected? The exposed, oversized zipper makes a statement with over 350+ custom YKK color options, adding a playful, industrial edge. Whether understated or expressive, these seam details help Flote feel truly custom, tailored to suit any space, style, or creative vision with clarity and character.

Flote made its humble debut in a space designed to welcome, inspire, and encourage a sense of lightness. Among the thoughtful color, movement, and energy of our last showroom design, Flote offered visitors a moment of pause and a first sit that felt instantly familiar and surprisingly uplifting.
More than just a visual centerpiece in the lounge portion of the showroom, it was a sensory experience that was both grounding and energizing. The collection was honored with a Best of NeoCon award and the coveted Best of Competition award, making its memorable mark in 2023.
