Designed by Melbourne-based studio, Ross Gardam, Adapt shines as Hightower's debut into the world of Australian design. Launched in 2021, Adapt was created to emphasize flexibility and style while boosting productivity. With its clean lines and subtle surfaces, it mirrors the essence of the tranquil and laid-back Australian lifestyle.
When Hightower CEO/Co-Owner Natalie Hartkopf first crossed paths with Ross, she was captivated by Adapt and it’s Aussie charm. Once they learned of their shared vision — creating products that evolve over time and are built to last — bringing the collection to Hightower was a no-brainer.
Ross began his design journey at an early age. He grew up in his parent’s manufacturing company and could be found tinkering with things anytime he was there. After studying industrial design at University, Ross took his trade around the world for many years before returning to Australia. In 2007, he founded Ross Gardam® Studio, focusing on creating contemporary furniture, lighting, and objects across a variety of innovative mediums.
